Good golfer in horrible golf shoes

The former Ryder Cup player Oliver Wilson has new golf shoes. Although the shoes are comfortable, according to Wilson, they don’t look pretty compared to what is already in the market.

Wilson, who is ranked 48 in the Race to Dubai list and struggling to win all the millions in Dubai this week, was inspired by his coach to give the new golf shoes a try. Although they are horrible in appearance, they are nevertheless comfortable to wear.

“Sometimes I train in bare feet and swings better. Therefore I think that I would give the shoes a chance. They are horrible, and I’ve got a lot of comments, but they are quite comfortable to wear”. The Golf365.com said.

While the new golf shoes are comfortable on the foot, they however did not work out well for Wilson in the first round of the Dubai World Championship. Wilson came around in 3-over-par and is placed on a shared 49th space.

Wilson has used the new golf shoes for about three weeks. Whether he will use the shoes permanently is yet to be known.

“You are doing better in them and there is less strain on the legs, but I’m not sure that I keep them”. Wilson Said.

The new shoe has special specifications. It resembles the hand glove with each toe having its separate place to fit in. It maybe too early to write it off as only time will tell if the shoe will be a hit among the golfers.
